Welcome to Progressive Dental of Fredericksburg! Our team is dedicated to making your visit to our office the best it possibly can be. Whether you are visiting with us for your routine cleaning and check up, your child’s first visit to the dentist, or you have a dental emergency, we will do everything we possibly can to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed.

We strive to provide comprehensive dental care and oral health education to our patients. Our friendly team stays current with the latest treatments and materials in the dental field. We work with you to meet your dental needs and focus on preventative treatment. Your oral health is extremely important, and it can affect your overall health quite profoundly. Amy- Scheduling/Clinical Care Coordinator

Amy was born in Leominster, Massachusetts but was raised in a small town in central Vermont. After completing a Dental Assistant 2 certification at Coastal Carolina Community College, Amy married her high school sweetheart Jamie who joined the United States Marine Corps in 1998. They had two handsome boys Hunter and Carter. Amy and her family moved eighteen times though out the twenty one years of Jamie’s military service. This lifestyle allowed for Amy to work in multiple dental offices along the east coast where she enjoyed building relationships with patients while helping them with their oral health.

Amy has now lived in Fredericksburg Virginia for eight years and still has a passion for dentistry. Amy has been a part of the Progressive Dental team since the fall of 2021. In Amy’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, hiking, biking, water sports, watching her son Carter play soccer, listening to Hunter play his guitar, walking the dogs, and taking vacations.

Nicole- RDH

Nicole was raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Valley View High school she entered the dental world as a dental assistant for 2 years. It was then she found her love for dentistry and decided to further her education.  She graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene in 1997 from SUNY Broome in Binghamton, New York.  After graduation she has worked in both general and pediatric dentistry. 

Nicole continues her passion to learn by attending regular continue education classes. In 1999 she moved to Spotsylvania, Virginia after she married her husband, Andy.  They have three beautiful children, Abigail, Andrew, and Dominic.  When Nicole is not seen in the dental office she is running her children to voice lessons, piano, and soccer.  In her spare time she enjoys beach trips with her family and friends, scrapbooking, and movie nights at home with her husband and children.

Mona- Insurance Coordinator

Mona was born and raised in California. She has enjoyed living in the local area for the past 28 years. Mona and her husband Todd have 3 children, Charley, Kyle, and Christian.

Mona has been in the dental field for numerous years, and has had many different roles within her career. She finds working as the Insurance Coordinator challenging and a fulfilling way to serve others.

Irina- Dental Assistant

Irina is a DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and graduate from Germanna Community College. She was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and received a Master’s Degree from Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics. Irina immigrated to the U.S. in 2011 and currently lives in Fredericksburg with her husband and three beautiful daughters. When she is not working on her patient’s smiles, Irina enjoys spending her personal time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, physical fitness, and home improvement projects. 

Alexandra- Dental Assistant

Alex was born in Kodiak, Alaska. Due to her father being in the military, she has moved across the country several times. Moving to Fredericksburg, Virginia in 2000, this has been her family’s longest residence. Alex was a graduate of Chancellor High School, and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from the University of Phoenix in January 2018. 

Alex has been with Progressive Dental of Fredericksburg since fall of 2016. She’s enjoyed working at the front desk with her welcoming personality and working in the back with the clinical staff. 

Alex lives with her boyfriend Casey in Spotsylvania, Virginia, alongside their beloved pet cat, Bagheera. In Alex’s spare time, she enjoys going trail riding on their UTV and taking vacations to the beach.
